It’s also simple to set up and operate and the app will guide you step-by-step through the procedure. Another notable feature is the ability to go back to the spot where it was when we tested it. It did this for 77 minutes on one cleaning before running out of battery.
Contrary to other robovacs we test, the i3+ EVO has a self-emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base when it’s filled. The i3+ EVO is able to prevent overfilling with a self-emptying bin. However it must be manually empty at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dust bin can hold 2.4L, which will last for robotvacuummops.com four to five cleaning sessions.
This model, like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors that create maps. It also lets you navigate through neat rows. However, the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 has the capacity to store multiple maps. The i7 can also make use of its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO is not able to do this.

The 240-minute runtime is extremely generous when compared to other models we’ve tested. If the battery is depleted it returns to its dock and automatically recharges before resuming cleaning where it left off. This model utilizes an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home and create efficient cleaning routes. The iMop was highly rated for its navigation and coverage. It also did an excellent job of avoiding obstacles such as furniture. It’s also able to return to the base station which is a great feature in the event it runs out of battery during cleaning.
It also comes with a spot cleaning mode that lets you to mop or clean an area of your floor. It can also be manually programmed to follow a certain path. This is a great option if you have narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test it performed well cleaning carpets. However, it struggled to clean rugs and carpets with longer piles. It can also be set to automatically raise the mop pad once it comes into contact with carpet, which is a fantastic option if you wish to avoid mowing your carpets.
